From field evidence to follow-up
Quality management and shift handover
Use the Web workspace to bring inspection progress, open issues and evidence into a management conversation, while keeping actions and quality decisions under authorized human control.
Who this is forQuality managers and shift leads coordinating inspectors, reviewers and repair teams across projects.
How the workflow fits together
Ask a scoped question
Start with a project, asset or time window: “Which inspected items still need review?” Distinguish completed captures, unresolved issues and reviewed results.
Prepare the handover
Summarize open work with its evidence, responsible role and next action. Check the proposed scope before confirming an assignment or another consequential action.
Review the report
Use the evidence and reviewed outcomes to prepare a report draft. Check the date range, denominator and exclusions before sharing any quality metric.
A captured image is not a passed inspection. A repair is not a passed reinspection. A result for inspected items does not establish whole-plant yield or authorize shipment.
Can an AI assistant decide that equipment can ship?
No shipment release should be inferred from a conversation, a completed capture or an inspection summary. Release authority and final quality decisions remain with the designated people and the agreed process.
Define a useful pilot.
Bring one asset type, a few representative inspection points, an agreed defect standard and the people responsible for review. Agree sample coverage, false positives, missed defects, review time and acceptance criteria before measuring results. Confirm device support, data retention, access permissions and integration scope in the proposal.
Give the next shift a clear next action.
